Published quarterly, this magazine features manuscripts and photographs, which contribute new insights into the history of Milwaukee County. All members of Historical Society receive the magazine as part of their membership.
Select past issues are still in inventory and can be viewed at the Historical Center. Listed here are our most recent issues and a selection of past publications, including those that explore ethnic history. Please see the ethnic article cross listing in Publications. Descriptions are the primary article, often featured on the cover, in each issue.
Single copies: $3 for most recent issues. Prices vary for older issues and are noted. Add $1.00 for shipping and handling.
A note about dates: Several years ago the Historical Society fell behind in its publication schedule. In keeping with best practices, we are publishing in the year and volume order. Hence, Spring-Summer & Fall-Winter 2005 is our most recent issue.
