Trimborn Farm Group Tours

School Groups

A 2 1/2 hour guided tour for fourth graders is offered during the spring and fall semesters. Topics covered include:

  • A New World: Werner Trimborn and the Lime Industry
  • A Do-It-Yourself Life
  • Digging Up the Past
  • Guess the Gadget - a new part of the school tour this year
  • Jeremiah Curtin: Beyond Milwaukee to the World

The tour can be modified for other grades and groups. The cost for the tour is $4 per student. Reservations are required. An adult chaperone is required for each group of eight students. To schedule a tour, call the Site Manager at 414-529-7744.

Adult Groups

A 90 minute guided walking tour of the site, combined with a tour of the nearby Jeremiah Curtin House, costs $4.00. A minimum of ten people is required for a tour. To schedule a tour, contact the Site Manager at 414-529-7744.
