For years our Historic Timeline has attracted hundreds of visitors, many of whom we expect are middle school students in hot pursuit of information to complete a homework assignment.

With the launch of our expanded web site, we intend to offer curriculum ideas for elementary, middle, and high school teachers in our community. In this way, we hope to relate the Historical Society’s exhibitions more directly to the Department of Public Instruction’s standards and to make them more easily accessible for students and teachers alike.
